Self-esteem  is about how we see our own worth or our abilities. The phrase self-esteem is often used to describe whether someone likes themselves or not or is confident in their ability to do something or not. Someone with high self-esteem might think that they are good at things and they are confident in the things that they do. People with low self-esteem might think negatively about themselves and feel they are useless or worthless.
